Although signed out in my name, Amy has the weekend to film and bring back footage.
I hope we have good stuff.
Amy's plan.
Amy had most of these ideas, which lead us into piecing it together.

London footage; oh dear
The files we need to convert into AVI, but after Ashvina converted them from her camera, they only played in audio. We need to transfer the footage in one way or another as the footage we had was rather good. We had several shots which are relevant to the trailer.

8th December;
Following the attempt to film on the 7th, Ashvina and I stayed after school with Zak and Othmane acting for us. This filming was not very successful.
On the 7th, needless to say, the lack of focus was not very good but Amy produced good footage, and better footage than Ashvina and I had produced.
This was slow partly because of the set up. We had gone to D.T to use their equipment to show the...
Where are Trailers shown?
Trailers are shown in the Cinema before the main feature, which depends on the rating of the Feature. These normally consist of full length trailers [1:30 - 2:30 normally].
These can also be shown on TV also, but these would not be in such good definition not the same effect. Still, it delivers the message on a smaller screen.
Radio stations can also advertise movies through voice, and reviews....
The Hidden
After watching the movie ‘The Hidden’ we watched the trailer to see how it went from Trailer, and teasing us to the full package.
In the Trailer, we can strong elements of ‘The Terminator’ and Cop movies when watching it. The use of voice-overs, hints, sci-fi tone, and the use of quotes from the movie.
Obviously the year it was made it means the way it is structed is...
Continuity Editing;
On the 2nd of November we studied continuity editing and what shots represents (i.e passing of time) with a few key examples of this.
Dissolve; A long period of time has passed between the previous shot to the next.
Cut; Immediate passing of time.
Black out; Very long passing of time.
Students' Work;
In Class we watched several trailers made by past students, and from watching this we took some essential points from these trailers:-
Fatality; Quick, fast paced. But there are too many medium shots, and set in a garden. Bad choice of location firstly, but besides this, the pace was good.
Destroy The Map; Quick images, and these gave us a clear indication of the movie and what was to be...
